60. . CB. Minnesota Vikings. Paulson Adebo. 23. player

It’s been a stark turn of narrative for the Minnesota Vikings in the 2019 season. Traditionally under Mike Zimmer, this has been a team built around a stout defense where the offense does just enough to get them to success. However, Kirk Cousins, Dalvin Cook and the offense have been the lifeblood of the Vikes in the 2019 season while the defense, the secondary in particular, looks as if it needs reinforcements.

This hasn’t been a banner year for Paulson Adebo, particularly early on, but he’s played well down the stretch. The Stanford cornerback has the length and physical ability to be a successful NFL cornerback and, given Zimmer’s propensity to bring young players along slowly, Adebo would be in a good position to pick up the nuances he’ll need to be a player that can upgrade a shockingly shaky secondary in Minnesota.

player. 124. . RB. Kansas City Chiefs. Travis Etienne. 24

Yes, the Kansas City Chiefs defense is not good. Yes, it would make sense for them to take someone on that side of the ball. Yes, that might do more for the Chiefs than adding another dangerous piece to their offense. And yet, this is a team that has a clear identity and that identity lies with Patrick Mahomes and a host of dangerous weapons on offense putting up crazy numbers under Andy Reid.

Travis Etienne could be another piece to that puzzle. Kansas City has built a lot of what they do around game-changing speed and the Clemson running back has that in droves. He’s a big play waiting to happen when he touches the ball. And given the fact that the Chiefs have rotated a number of players in at running back to varying results, Etienne could be the guy they need to shore up that position.
