22. New York Jets (22)

One week after suffering an embarrassing loss on the road to the Cincinnati Bengals, the New York Jets found a way to bounce back with a thrilling 22-21 win over a familiar face in the Miami Dolphins.

A win over another struggling team in the Dolphins may not sound like the biggest deal in the world for a team in the Jets, but with the way this season has been, New York will take anything they can get at this point in the season.

Originally, the Jets were considered a team with the potential to be a sleeper contender within the AFC, but unfortunately the first month got off to a rough start when Sam Darnold was dealing with mono.

New York can only imagine how different this season would have been if they didn’t deal with so many issues out of their control early on, but at least ending the year on a positive note could help the team feel better about their chances to bounce back in 2020.

The good news is as frustrating as this season has been at times for the Jets, Sunday was another perfect example of how Darnold (270 passing yards with two touchdowns) continues to show a ton of potential as the long-term option at quarterback for this team.
