21. Philadelphia Eagles (21) – Play Monday Night vs. Giants

The gifts keep on coming for the Philadelphia Eagles when it comes to staying alive in the race for the NFC East title since the team is in position once again to end Week 14 with the same record as the Dallas Cowboys if they can defeat the New York Giants.

Of course, this was a similar scenario as the week before when the Eagles failed to take advantage of playing a favorable team in the Miami Dolphins, meaning Monday’s game against the two-win Giants is far from a guaranteed victory.

By now, one would think that Philadelphia would have been able to take advantage of Dallas losing four of their last five games, but the Eagles head into their battle with the Giants as losers of three in a row.

With the way Philadelphia’s defense looked against the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, it was shocking to watch the unit struggle the way they did in Miami, but at least a favorable matchup against Eli Manning should help them bounce back.

All the Eagles need to do in order to win the NFC East is focus on one game at a time before their showdown with the Cowboys in Week 16.

As crazy as it is to believe, Philadelphia just needs to win on Monday over New York, and this team will continue to be in great shape to win the NFC East title.
