18. Denver Broncos (25)

How much do the Denver Broncos wish they had Drew Lock available to start at the beginning of the season over Joe Flacco?

In what was easily one of the biggest surprises from the weekend, the Broncos pulled off a shocking upset on the road to hand the Houston Texans a devastating 38-24 loss.

While Denver is already out of the playoff hunt, one of the main reasons why these results were so surprising was due to the fact that Houston was coming off a huge statement win the previous week over the New England Patriots.

For a team that has dealt with plenty of quarterback issues since Peyton Manning decided to retire, one can only imagine the excitement surrounding Lock after the rookie quarterback led the Broncos to a second win in a row on Sunday.

Like most rookies, Lock obviously still has a lot to prove since he’s only started two games, but for the first time in what feels like forever, the Broncos may have a young quarterback with potential to finally build the offense around.

Defeating the Texans and Los Angeles Chargers was impressive, but if Lock finds a way to help Denver defeat the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 15, just imagine what level the excitement will reach.
