28. Jacksonville Jaguars (28)

Sunday’s embarrassing 45-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers should be viewed as a major sign to the Jacksonville Jaguars that keeping Nick Foles around beyond the 2019 season is the best option for the team in the future.

After the former Super Bowl MVP struggled on offense last week during the team’s loss to the Tamp Bay Buccaneers, Doug Marrone officially benched Folesfor the remainder of the season leading up to Week 14 in favor of rookie Gardner Minshew.

Earlier in the year, Minshew did an incredible job filling in for Foles when needed, but watching the rookie and the rest of the offense put up just 10 points on the Chargers shows the Jaguars are clearly in need of help on both sides of the football.

With Jacksonville suffering their fifth loss in a row on Sunday, it only makes sense to continue rolling the dice with Minshew since there’s no point in playing Foles since the Jaguars should want to make sure he’s healthy enough for 2020 if needed.

There’s been talk about the possibility of Jacksonville moving on from Foles in the offseason, but with the current state of this team, it would be wise for the Jaguars to keep the quarterback around.
