27. Washington Redskins (24)

Unfortunately, the Washington Redskins were officially eliminated from playoff contention on Sunday after coming up short against the Green Bay Packers 20-15.

Yes, the fact that Washington was technically still alive in the playoff hunt should be viewed as an absolute joke since they only have three wins to their name, but also this shows how awful the NFC East really is.

With that being said, the Redskins deserve some credit for keeping things closer than expected with the Packers since most football fans assumed this game would potentially turn into a blowout.

A matchup against a struggling team in Washington seemed like a dream scenario for Aaron Rodgers and the rest of his Green Bay teammates, but watching the Packers only score six points over the final three quarters shows how tough the Redskins played on defense.

If only Dwayne Haskins and the rest of Washington’s offense could have put up another touchdown or so, the Redskins would have been in much better shape to pull off the potential upset over the Packers.

Still, at least when it comes to Haskins (170 passing yards with a touchdown and interception), the early experience for the rookie quarterback should still be able to pay off in the long run.
