Before the Minnesota Vikings face the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 15, here are three bold predictions that will take place for the Vikings on Sunday.

The Minnesota Vikings enter Week 15 coming off of a dominating win and now facing their final AFC opponent of the year. Minnesota will hit the road on Sunday evening to take on the Los Angeles Chargers at Dignity Health Sports Park.

The Vikings come into the game, which will also be the final road contest for Minnesota for the remainder of the regular season, with a record of 9-4 overall on the year with three games left to go before the postseason.

The Vikings are coming off of a 20-7 dominating win over the Detroit Lions in Week 14 at home last Sunday, improving to a perfect 6-0 at home so far in the 2019 campaign. Minnesota, which trails the Green Bay Packers (10-3 overall) atop the NFC North standings while still sitting ahead of both the Chicago Bears (7-6) and the Lions (3-9-1) in the division, maintained a hold onto the second Wild Card spot in the NFC playoff picture following the victory.

Minnesota will need to continue to take care of business in Week 15 against Los Angeles to try and continue to hold onto that Wild Card spot in the NFC.

On the other end of the field, the Vikings will take on a Chargers squad that has struggled to some extend this season while containing an overall record of 5-8 overall up to this point in the year. Los Angeles is coming off of a somewhat surprising 45-10 victory on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14 last Sunday.

The Chargers come into the game against the Vikings tied with the Denver Broncos for the third spot in the AFC West standings. The Kansas City Chiefs (9-4), which clinched the division following a Week 14 win over the New England Patriots, hold onto first place in the AFC West with the Oakland Raiders in second place at 6-7.

Prior to the Vikings traveling to take on the Chargers this weekend in Los Angeles, let’s make three bold predictions that will occur during the game for Minnesota in Week 15.
