Minnesota Vikings: 3 Bold predictions vs. Chargers, Week 15
1. Vikings pick up an important road win
Coming into the game on Sunday evening, the Vikings hold a road record of 3-4 away from Minneapolis this season while Minnesota continues to be the only team in the NFL to not hold a home loss at this point in the regular season.
Minnesota has played some tough opponents on the road to this point in the 2019 campaign, including facing the Kansas City Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks in their home stadiums in the last few road contests.
Those tough road environments and playing in those games away from US Bank Stadium will play into the favor of the Vikings, who have already been battle-tested when it comes to trying to take down a team on the road this year.
When it comes to taking on the Chargers in Los Angeles in Week 15, the Vikings will be able to use those past experiences from earlier in the year to head into Los Angeles and take down the AFC opponent on Sunday evening.
The first reason for this prediction is that the Vikings defense has appeared to turn things around and they will face off against a quarterback on the other side of the field in Chargers veteran quarterback Philip Rivers who tends to be a Wild Card and has the tendency to turn the ball over throughout the course of contests.
Minnesota will ultimately be able to force Rivers and company into a few turnovers and will get out to a lead early on in the game to take the Chargers out of the contest and finish its regular season road schedule with a win on the road in Los Angeles in Week 15 this weekend.
