Houston Texans (8-5) at Tennessee Titans (8-5)

Sunday, December 15, 1PM ET

It’s Derrick Henry’s world and we’re just living in. At least, that appears to be the situation considering how dominant the Tennessee Titans’ running back has been over the last month or so. Oh, and the emergence of Ryan Tannehill has helped too.

The more important piece, though, is Henry’s effectiveness on the ground. He’s broken the 100-yard mark in five of his last six games, and is leading the league in rushing yards since the beginning of November. What’s worse is the Houston Texans haven’t been great at slowing the run in recent weeks, which could prove costly in Week 15.

Right now, everything seems to be going in the Titans’ favor. They’ve rattled off four straight wins, and have asserted themselves as true contenders for the AFC South crown. Tannehill has been a revelation since taking over for Marcus Mariota, and the Tennessee defense is doing just enough to keep the wins coming.

It’s time for someone to take command of this division, and the Titans appear to be in position to do exactly that. A win against the Texans, currently in first place, will give the edge as we come down the final stretch. Deshaun Watson will do his best to avoid a second straight loss, but his efforts won’t be enough — just like they weren’t against the Denver Broncos.

Prediction: Titans win 27-25
