12. Ertz goes for 15 catches, multiple touchdowns

Now that Alshon Jeffery is out for the remainder of the season to go along with all the other injuries in the wide receiver department, the Philadelphia Eagles will most likely be heavily relying on Zach Ertz for the rest of the way.

Monday’s win over the New York Giants in which Ertz found the end zone to tie the game with just under two minutes left in regulation before finding it again in overtime to seal the victory shows just how valuable the tight is to the Eagles on offense.

With Philadelphia still in the hunt for the NFC East title with the Dallas Cowboys, the Eagles need another key win on Sunday against a familiar face in the Washington Redskins to keep those playoff hopes alive.

There have been a few monster games by Ertz over the course of his career when facing the Redskins, and with Philadelphia’s current situation at wide receiver, Week 15 could very well add to the impressive list.

Ertz has unfortunately been dealing with some injuries of his own in recent weeks, but as long as he remains healthy for this game in Washington, Philadelphia will be in better shape to pull off another win.
