8. Cowboys lose for fifth time in six games

The 2019 season has been filled with plenty of unexpected surprises, but no one could have predicted the Dallas Cowboys would still be alive in the hunt for the NFC East title without beating a team with a winning record.

Even during last week’s game on the road against the Chicago Bears, the Cowboys looked flat-out awful, and could be in for a rough outing against one of the hottest teams from the last two weeks in the Los Angeles Rams.

A few weeks ago, Dallas seemed like they would have little trouble getting by Los Angeles after the defending NFC champions were embarrassed by the Baltimore Ravens in front of their own fans.

But since that terrible loss, the Rams have won two impressive games in a row, including one on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks that knocked them from the No. 2 seed back to a Wild Card spot.

Assuming Los Angeles continues to play at a high level, Dallas could be in serious trouble once again.

And with the Philadelphia Eagles having a game that could work to their advantage against the Washington Redskins, the Cowboys could be in serious trouble if they suffer another loss to the Rams.
