6. Cousins finishes with four turnovers against Chargers

With three games to go before the playoffs get underway, the Minnesota Vikings are in a similar situation as last season in which they control their own playoff destiny.

While the Vikings currently sit in the No. 6 seed, the NFC North title is still within reach as well since they only trail the Green Bay Packers by a single game.

And with Minnesota set to host their rivals in Week 16, one can only imagine how intense things are going to be against Green Bay since that game could very well determine the winner of the division.

But before jumping too far ahead, the main focus for the Vikings at the moment is on Sunday’s game against an opponent that no one should take lightly in the Los Angeles Chargers.

Playoffs may be out of reach for the Chargers, but this team could still play the role of spoiler if the defense applies all sorts of pressure on Kirk Cousins throughout the contest.

No player on Minnesota’s roster will be facing as much pressure this week as Cousins after his first year with the Vikings with that hefty contract went to complete waste.

Cousins deserves credit for helping Minnesota get back on track after a rough start to the season, but Sunday’s game in Los Angeles could be rough for the Vikings quarterback.
