17. Manning earns first win of 2019 by defeating Dolphins

First off, this scenario can obviously only take place if Daniel Jones is unable to go for a second week in a row after the New York Giants rookie quarterback was forced to miss Monday’s game against the Philadelphia due to an ankle injury.

Overall, Manning deserves some credit for looking sharp in the first half in the loss to the Eagles since the veteran managed to connect with Darius Slayton for two touchdowns in what can be best described as sloppy weather conditions.

Since the future beyond 2019 is unclear for Manning at the moment since the two-time Super Bowl winner could very well retire or end up on a different team since Jones is clearly the future of this franchise on offense.

If Manning does continue to start, it’s safe to assume the quarterback will do everything in his power to at least record one more win in his career to potentially end things on a positive note if retirement turns out to be the option.

The Miami Dolphins may seem like a favorable team for Manning to face, but Brian Flores has done an incredible job at making sure his team continues to fight, and give 100 percent effort each week.

In other words, if Manning is going to earn that win over the Dolphins, he better be in for a monster game with plenty of help from his teammates.
