13. Trubisky throws three touchdown passes for third-straight game

Will the Chicago Bears be the perfect example of too little, too late when it comes to the NFC playoff picture?

After defeating the Dallas Cowboys to earn their third win in a row last Thursday, the Bears seem to be heating up at the right time, and hope to keep the momentum going in Week 15 with a tough battle at Lambeau Field scheduled against the Green Bay Packers.

No one needs to explain to Chicago just how intense this rivalry with Green Bay is, and if the Bears are going to have any fighting shot at avoid the season sweep against their rivals, Mitch Trubisky will need to continue playing at a high level.

When taking into consideration that Trubisky’s future in Chicago was uncertain a few months ago, it’s been amazing to see the North Carolina product toss three touchdown passes in each of his last three games.

If Trubisky can figure out a way to extend this streak to three games when facing the Packers, the Bears may have what it takes to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.

But if not, it’s going to be a long offseason for Chicago wondering what could have been after winning the NFC North title last year.
