Before the New England Patriots take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15, here are three Patriots players that must step up and shine in the contest.

The New England Patriots will come into Week 15 looking to get back on track while experiencing their first losing streak of the 2019 season. The Patriots will take on another AFC opponent this weekend on the road while riding a two-game losing streak, traveling to take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon at Paul Brown Stadium.

New England enters the contest after coming off of a rare loss at home in Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs, seeing its 21-game home winning streak come to an end following the 23-16 defeat at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.

In that game, Kansas City jumped out to a 20-7 advantage in the first half of the contest behind a 17-point second quarter outburst, pushing the game out of reach despite New England trying to put together a comeback attempt late in the matchup at home.

With the loss, the Patriots dropped their second game in a row and moved to 10-3 overall on the season, although they still remain ahead of the Buffalo Bills, New York Jets and Miami Dolphins atop the AFC East standings. New England also remains as the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoff picture through 14 weeks of play around the NFL.

On the other end of the field in Week 15, the Patriots will travel to take on a struggling Bengals squad that carries a record of 1-12 overall so far this year. Cincinnati, which is coming off of a 27-19 loss on the road in Week 14 against the Cleveland Browns, remains at the bottom of the AFC North division behind the Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens ahead of it.

Prior to the Patriots hitting the road to face the Bengals on Sunday afternoon, let’s take a look at three players that are going to have to step up and shine for New England in order to get it back in the win column this weekend.
