1. Tom Brady

Tom Brady kicked off the 2019 campaign, his 20th season in the NFL and with the Patriots, looking like the Brady that we’ve been accustomed to seeing up to this point in his career.

But in the last few games, which has resulted in New England falling in both of those contests against tough AFC opponents, Brady has struggled under center for the Patriots and that has been just one of the reasons why New England has struggled as of late.

In the Week 14 loss at home against the Chiefs, Brady managed to throw for just 169 yards and one touchdown through the air for the Patriots, converting on 19 of his overall 36 passing attempts to record a quarterback rating of 36.6. The veteran quarterback did throw one interception in the loss, while also being sacked a total of three times.

As is the case for any team in the league and its quarterback, New England needs its star quarterback and focal point of the offense to find his stride in the final few games of the regular season leading up to postseason action in a few weeks.

But as we have seen many times in the past 20 years, Brady and the Patriots will likely be able to figure things out and hit their stride at just the right time of the year while the regular season continues to wind down and the playoffs heat up.
