The Baltimore Ravens aim to win their 10th-straight game as they face the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football. Bold predictions for the Week 15 game.

After being tested for two straight weeks and still pushing to the No. 1 seed in the AFC, the Baltimore Ravens now come into Week 15 getting a respite in terms of their opponent. They face a Jekyll-Hyde New York Jets team at M&T Bank Stadium but they don’t get the fortune of having the full week off as these two teams match up on Thursday Night Football.

Lamar Jackson, who is slightly banged-up for this game, and the Ravens enter the primetime contest on a nine-game winning streak that has moved them to 11-2 on the season. A win over the Jets pushes Baltimore into the playoffs as AFC North champions, though a loss would not be the end of the world with the cushion they’ve given themselves.

Then there’s Adam Gase’s Jets, a team that went on a three-game winning streak before giving the Bengals their first win of the 2019 season and then barely beating the Dolphins. Just when you think Sam Darnold and Co. have it figured out, they decidedly do not.

So what does that mean for this matchup on Thursday Night Football? Likely, it means the Baltimore Ravens dominating the New York Jets. Having that in mind, let’s make five bold predictions for the Week 15 game.

5. Bell held to under 25 rushing yards

With the amount of money that the New York Jets paid Le’Veon Bell this offseason, they certainly expected him to be the game-changer they needed on offense. What they failed to account for was how critical having a competent offensive line was to utilizing bell properly.

In his first season with the Jets, Bell has been held to just 3.2 yards per carry with 589 rushing yards and three touchdowns to go with 403 receiving yards and only one additional score. It’s been a disappointment in the truest sense for the former Steeler.

Though he’ll be against a familiar foe in the Ravens defense, don’t expect Bell to bounce back on Thursday night. In fact, with the injuries on the Jets offensive line right now and as Baltimore’s defense is stepping up, the Ravens will hold the Jets running back to under 25 rushing yards and under 50 total yards on the night.
