From the Philadelphia Eagles to the Kansas City Chiefs, there are numerous teams that will be looking to avoid finishing on the wrong end of an upset in NFL Week 15 of the 2019 season, especially with the start of playoffs right around the corner.
But when it comes to the team that should be the most fearful, all football fans need to do is give a look at the San Francisco 49ers.
Last weekend, the 49ers made a huge statement by defeating the New Orleans Saints on the road to show they still have what it takes to be one of the top contenders in the NFC.
And thanks to San Francisco receiving some extra help from the Los Angeles Rams defeating the Seattle Seahawks, the 49ers were able to work their back into the top overall seed in the NFC playoff picture.
Now, the fun continues in seeing if San Francisco has what it takes to remain in the spot since teams like the Saints and Seahawks would love nothing more than to take it away from them.
Of course, if this is going to happen, they would need the 49ers to lose key games, one of which could be this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.
This year has turned out to be another disappointment for the Falcons since they will be watching the playoffs from home for a second year in a row, but the extra motivation could be there on Sunday to take down a familiar face in Kyle Shanahan.
