2. Gruden pulls out some trick plays for final game in Oakland

It’s the last game the Raiders will play in Oakland, so expect some surprises on Sunday. As if fans won’t need a lot to get fired up for in Week 15, expect head coach Jon Gruden to crank it up with not one, but two trick plays that lead to points.

It’s the perfect game and the perfect scenario. It’s also a perfect way for Gruden to remind the Raiders faithful that it’s as much about getting a much-needed win, as it is about giving fans something big to pack away in the memory bank of NFL football in Oakland.

Gruden will take advantage of a Jacksonville team that will be overwhelmed by the history of the moment. Gruden won’t disappoint as he tees up a timely fake punt and executes a flea-flicker for a touchdown. It will be the kind of plays that give the home crowd a little something extra for what will be a big sendoff.

Gruden gets it. He’s always been, despite a stint in Tampa Bay, a Raiders guy. He will understand the significance of the moment and the impact the crowd will have in this game. Fans in Oakland will get two big plays to remember after a lifetime of Raiders football.
