With the Minnesota Vikings dominating the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 15, here are three studs and duds for the Vikings from the win on the road.

The Minnesota Vikings entered Week 15 looking to continue their recent winning ways while taking part in their final road game of the year. The Vikings hit the road on Sunday evening to take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Carson, facing their final AFC opponent for a remainder of the regular season schedule.

While coming off of taking down the Detroit Lions in an impressive victory in Week 14 at home last Sunday, Minnesota hit the road as winners in three of its last four games while looking to keep pace with the Green Bay Packers atop the NFC North and also maintain a hold onto the second NFC Wild Card spot in the playoff picture.

The Vikings continued to display their dominance in Week 15, taking down the Chargers, 39-10, in a nice all-around performance.

Minnesota was able to jump out to a lead early on in the contest and set the tone right from the opening kickoff. The Vikings held a 6-3 advantage after one quarter while ending up carrying a 19-10 advantage into halftime.

In the second half, Minnesota continued to step on the gas and take Los Angeles out of the game as the contest progressed, outscoring the Chargers 20-0 for a remainder of the matchup to pull away with a 29-point win in its final road game of the 2019 regular season.

With the win, Minnesota improved to 10-4 overall on the year and has now won four of its last five games with two regular-season contests remaining on the schedule. The Vikings continue to hold onto the second NFC Wild Card spot through 15 weeks of action while remaining behind Green Bay (11-3) in the NFC North standings. Minnesota remains ahead of the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions in the division.

The Vikings will return home for the final two weeks of the regular season to host two important NFC North games at US Bank Stadium. That will kick off with a Week 16 matchup against the Packers on Monday Night Football.

With the matchup between Minnesota and Los Angeles now behind us, let’s look back at the game from Sunday evening and dive into three studs and duds from the Vikings in the game.
