24. Jacksonville Jaguars (28)

The Jacksonville Jaguars appeared to be heading towards a fifth loss in a row with the way the first half went against the Oakland Raiders, but once again Gardner Minshew is back in the conversation of making a case for the starting job in 2020.

Time will tell when it comes to figuring out if the Jaguars decide to bite the bullet and move on from Nick Foles after only one season, whether it seems fair or not.

By naming Minshew the starter for the remainder of the season a few weeks ago, it seemed pretty clear that Jacksonville felt confident enough in the rookie having the chance to be the next long-term quarterback under center over Foles.

Watching Minshew only throw for 201 yards with two touchdowns in the win over the Raiders doesn’t exactly seem like the most exciting statistic in the world, but it’s more so how Minshew helped Jacksonville pull off the comeback that matters the most.

Depending on how Minshew looks over the final two games against the Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts, the Jaguars may find it difficult not to stick with him beyond the 2020 season, and figure out what to do with Foles later on.
