21. Denver Broncos (18)

Maybe in better weather conditions, Drew Lock and the Denver Broncos would have been in much better position to knock off the Kansas City Chiefs instead of coming up short on Sunday 23-3.

As crazy as it was to believe, the Broncos appeared to have found new life over their previous two games against the Los Angeles Chargers and Houston Texans, both of which resulted in wins.

Ever since Peyton Manning decided to call it a career after Denver’s most recent Super Bowl win, the offense has struggled to find a consistent quarterback to build the franchise around.

Lock clearly still has a long way to go since it’s only been a few games, but when looking at all of the quarterbacks the Broncos have struggled with over the years, it’s difficult not to express excitement over their rookie’s potential.

By failing to record a single touchdown pass against Kansas City, this should be viewed as a learning experience for Lock so the rookie can use this as a way to improve moving forward.

Since Denver’s season has basically been over for weeks, at least these final two games can be used as a way to evaluate Lock one last time before the 2020 season, since this is when the Broncos expect a major leap from their new potential quarterback, development wise.
