13. Los Angeles Rams (10)

Just when it seemed like the Los Angeles Rams had finally turned things around, and were going to make things a little more interesting in the NFC playoff race, Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys took place.

With the Cowboys fighting for a playoff spot of their own in the NFC East with the Philadelphia Eagles, the Rams knew this meeting was going to be far from easy, but even they didn’t expect it to be this rough.

Not only did Los Angeles find themselves trailing in a big way at halftime 28-7, but the defense allowed Tavon Austin to get a little revenge by torching his former team with a 59-yard touchdown in the second quarter.

Leading up to the game, the Rams were in decent shape by only trailing the Minnesota Vikings by a single game for the final Wild Card spot, but it seems likely that Los Angeles will be watching the playoffs from home for the first time during the Sean McVay era.

After all of the adjustments made last offseason, it looks like the Rams will have even more work heading into 2020 since missing out on the playoffs this year would be viewed as a major failure for a team that has been all-in since 2018.
