8. Buffalo Bills (12)

Between handing the Dallas Cowboys a loss in front of their own fans on Thanksgiving Day to almost knocking off the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14, the Buffalo Bills have been making a strong case over being a top contender in the AFC in the second half of the regular season.

Once again, the Bills found a way to make another big statement over being a top team to beat within the AFC by handing the Pittsburgh Steelers a 17-10 loss on the road.

While there are plenty of reasons for Buffalo to be thrilled over victory, nothing tops the factor of the win officially clinched a playoff spot for the Bills, and what is even more exciting is off the AFC East race with the New England Patriots is still wide open as well.

Defense has always been one of the major strength of Buffalo during the Sean McDermott era, but how about the job Josh Allen has done on offense?

For a quarterback that was considered overrated last year when the Bills used a first-round pick on the former Wyoming star, Allen continues to show he’s the real deal, and seems ready for his first playoff experience in January.
