3. Seattle Seahawks (6)

Thanks to some unexpected help from the Atlanta Falcons defeating the San Francisco 49ers at the last second, the Seattle Seahawks not only managed to move back on top of the NFC West entering Week 16, but currently sit in the top overall seed for the NFC playoffs as well.

Just when the Seahawks were kicking themselves for coming up short a week before to the Los Angeles Rams, Seattle is back in the driver’s seat with two games to go at home during the regular season.

While defeating the Arizona Cardinals should be easy, the biggest game for the Seahawks will obviously take place during Week 17 with the 49ers coming to town in a game that will most likely determine the winner of the division and No. 1 seed.

Little did Seattle know that Sunday’s 30-24 win over the Carolina Panthers in which both Russell Wilson and Chris Carson displayed strong performances on offense would have such a big impact later in the day, but here they are.

Defeating San Francisco for a second time in the regular-season finale will be far from easy for Seattle, but they should love their chances after everything this team has overcome in 2019.
