28. New York Jets (22)

With the way things have been for the New York Jets this season, no one should have been surprised by the outcome on Thursday against the Baltimore Ravens.

Not even the factors of Lamar Jackson dealing with a minor injury leading up to the contest or the Ravens playing on a shorter week was good enough to help the Jets in this one since Baltimore wasted little time running up the score before going on to win 42-21.

Leading up to the contest, New York seemed to be in great position to end 2019 on a high note by recording four wins over their last five games, but Thursday was the perfect example of just how much of a work in progress this team really is.

For starters, the defense looked completely lost for the Jets trying to keep Jackson in check after the MVP candidate torched the Jets for five touchdown passes.

After Sam Darnold missed the beginning of the year due to mono, it seemed pretty clear early on that New York would be going through a year of rebuilding, but the good news is the former first-round pick continues to show enormous potential in the long run.

Coming up short the way the Jets did was obviously frustrating, but hopefully this loss can be used as another learning experience for Darnold.
