2. Low scoring affair at Gillette Stadium

Both the Patriots and Bills contain solid defensive units while both offenses haven’t necessarily thrived as much as they would ideally like up to this point in the year. This could make for another low-scoring, grinding matchup between these two divisional foes.

On the side of New England, the Patriots defense ranks first in the NFL in yards given up per game (268.4), while ranking second in passing yards given up per game (170.3) and first in the league in interceptions (25) going into Week 16.

For Buffalo, the Bills’ defense has been solid as well and will present challenges for New England in the game this weekend. Buffalo’s defense ranks third in total yards given up per game (291.9), while giving up an average of 190.5 passing yards per contest, which ranks third-best in the NFL.

In the important AFC East matchup on Saturday afternoon in Foxborough, a game that holds big implications for both New England and Buffalo, the game will be a low-scoring affair and we will see a battle of two dominant defensive groups throughout the course of the game at Gillette Stadium.
