Arizona Cardinals (4-9-1) at Seattle Seahawks (11-3)

Sunday, December 22, 4:25PM ET

Congratulations to the Arizona Cardinals for finally ending their six-game losing streak and getting back in the win column for the first time since Week 7. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, I’d like to apologize for the fact that they won’t be starting any win streaks before the season ends.

The Seattle Seahawks simply offer too tall of a hurdle for the Cardinals to clear. Yes, they boast an explosive (yet inconsistent) offense, but the Seahawks will be ready for whatever Kyler Murray and Co. can throw at them. Arizona will score points, but they won’t be able to do enough damage to keep up on the scoreboard.

Why? Because the Arizona defense is awful. Russell Wilson will take advantage all day long, tossing at least a couple of touchdowns while watching Chris Carson and the rest of the Seattle ground attack do its own fair share of damage. It’s going to be a long day for the Cardinals defense.

We’re nearing the end of the season, and these teams have watched vastly different seasons unfold. While we can never really ignore divisional matchups, this one seems fairly cut and dry. The Seahawks walk away with the win as they keep pace with the 49ers.

Prediction: Seahawks win 34-20
