Dallas Cowboys (7-7) at Philadelphia Eagles (7-7)

Sunday, December 22, 4:25PM ET

For the most part, this is for all the marbles in the NFC East. The Philadelphia Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys in what could be the biggest game of the 2019 campaign for both of these clubs. Only one victor will emerge, and with a commanding lead in the divisional race.

Honestly, this one was a complete tossup. The Eagles have home-field advantage, but the Cowboys have looked like the better overall team throughout the season. Dak Prescott has the talent to shred this Philadelphia secondary, which is currently ranked 17th against the pass this season. Slowing down the top-ranked offense simply won’t be an easy task.

The bigger question is can the Eagles muster enough offense to keep up? Carson Wentz hasn’t been himself this season, looking good at times but slumping all too often. The Philadelphia offense has been decimated by injuries, and seems to dig itself into a hole early in games, forcing Wentz to create tons of offense in the second half just to stay alive.

If the Cowboys can play the brand of football they displayed against the Rams last weekend, they should have no problem getting this win. Considering these teams’ history, though, you better believe the Eagles will give them everything they can handle on Sunday. A close win for Dallas seems to be the likely outcome, though.

Prediction: Cowboys win 27-26
