Baltimore Ravens (12-2) at Cleveland Browns (6-8)

Sunday, December 22, 1PM ET

No matter how many opportunities they’re given, the Cleveland Browns just can’t seem to win when it matters most. And yet, somehow, they’re still in the race after the Steelers’ Week 15 loss. Not that it means much, seeing as this roster has already thrown in the towel.

The Browns aren’t playing with any sort of urgency. They got hammered by a lackluster Cardinals club this past weekend, and can’t seem to play up to their potential. Even if they were to get it going over the final two weeks of the season, they’d still need plenty of help to earn a spot in the postseason.

Cleveland also needs to keep winning. And that’s just not going to happen against the Baltimore Ravens, who are arguably the NFL’s hottest team at this moment. There’s no way this limping Browns defense is going to slow down Lamar Jackson and his bunch of playmakers. Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if this one was nearly over by halftime.

It’s been a rough past few months for the Browns, and it’s not suddenly going to get better for Freddie Kitchen’s club. Cleveland drops this one as the Ravens cruise to yet another easy win, locking up a first-round bye in the process.

Prediction: Ravens win 43-17
