4. Dan Quinn

A few months ago, Dan Quinn appeared to be a lock in regards to the Atlanta Falcons moving on from the head coach, but some surprise impressive play over the last month or so may land him another chance to prove himself in 2020.

Normally, a head coach helping a team like the Falcons pulling off one of the biggest upsets from the weekend on the road by defeating the San Francisco 49ers would make it seem like Quinn would be safe from this week’s list, but anything is possible.

Since nothing is guaranteed when it comes to Quinn keeping his job, it only seems fair to have him on for at least one more week, although this will be one of the most interesting situations to monitor over the next two weeks.

Believe it or not, Sunday’s last-second victory over the 49ers marked the fourth time in six games the Falcons finished on the winning end, which also included wins over the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers (twice).

One can only imagine how different this season would have been in Atlanta if they didn’t lose seven of their first eight games, but the best thing the Falcons can do to save Quinn’s job is end 2019 on a high note.
