2020 NFL Free Agency: Early predictions for top 25 players

With an abundance of talent set to be available during 2020 NFL free agency, let’s take a look at where some of the league’s elite players could sign.

Believe it or not, we only have a few weeks before the 2019 NFL season arrives at its inevitable ending. That means that 2020 NFL free agency is just around the corner. So why not begin preparing for the circus with some early predictions?

Especially for the teams quickly exiting the postseason hunt, free agency can be a make-or-break opportunity when it comes to building a playoff-caliber roster. It’s a chance to sign quality veteran players who can immediately step in and contribute on Sundays. It’s also an opportunity to fill holes and make upgrades at key positions.

Luckily for those failing franchises, the 2020 free agency class is going to feature a boatload of potential game-changers. There should be at least a couple of starting-caliber quarterbacks available, and a couple of big-time offensive playmakers will be seeking a new deal. As you’ll soon see, there’s talent at nearly every position worthy of a massive payday.

Regardless, it’s going to be fun seeing the landscape of the NFL shift come early March.

With that in mind, let’s take an early look at the top 25 players scheduled to be available during 2020 NFL free agency and my predictions for where they may land. Be forewarned, though — there’s a good chance a handful of them will be staying put, both in my predictions and in real life.
