12. Mahomes tosses four touchdowns for first time since Week 2

With five wins over their last six games, the Kansas City Chiefs seem to be heating up at the right time and could be the last team anyone wants to face in January, especially if the team is extra motivated to reach the Super Bowl after last year.

After already clinching the AFC West, the Chiefs have their eyes set on possibly squeezing into the No. 2 seed, although they will need some help from other teams defeating the New England Patriots during this final stretch.

But since Kansas City’s best approach should be focusing on one game at a time, the attention for this week will be on Sunday night’s meeting with the Chicago Bears.

Around this time last week, the Bears would have seemed like more of a threat since they were still in the hunt for a playoff spot in the NFC, but this doesn’t mean Chicago still won’t be tough for Kansas City.

Then again, as much as the Bears’ defense wants to believe they will be able to keep Patrick Mahomes in check, the reigning MVP could be in for another one of those performances in which he picks apart Chicago with ease, and help the Chiefs earn another win.
