8. Austin goes for another touchdown of more than 50 yards

Finally, the Dallas Cowboys found a way to defeat a team with a winning record after embarrassing the Los Angeles Rams to basically put a dagger in their 2019 season since they are not long shots to reach the playoffs.

As for the chances of the Cowboys, the good news for Dallas is all they need to do is defeat the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, and they are guaranteed to finish on top of the NFC East.

Football fans can complain all they want about how unfair it’s going to be for an NFC East team to host a playoff game since other teams such as the Seattle Seahawks or San Francisco 49ers seem more worthy, but this isn’t going to bother the Cowboys one bit if it happens.

Knowing the Eagles, Doug Pederson and company are going to focus most of their attention on key offensive players like Ezekiel Elliott or Amari Cooper since no one needs to explain just how dangerous they can be when on top of their game.

But if Dallas were looking for a potential breakout star, Tavon Austin could be the perfect candidate after seeing what the speedster did to the Rams after hauling in a 59-yard touchdown catch.

Austin isn’t used as often on offense as some of the other players on the Cowboys, but when he is, Dallas tends to see great results.
