3. Allen earns first career win against Patriots

Could the Buffalo Bills find a way to pull off another big win on the road against the New England Patriots to make the AFC East race a little more intense heading into Week 17?

Back in September, this scenario sounded nearly impossible due to the fact that New England was considered a strong candidate to go the entire year without losing a single game, but the circumstances are completely different now.

Believe it or not, some football fans will make the case that Buffalo is the hotter team at the moment compared to New England, and some of their recent wins will back this claim up.

From defeating the Dallas Cowboys on the road Thanksgiving Day to their most recent win against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field, the Bills are heating up at the right time.

Buffalo’s defense has received most of the credit for the team’s success over the last couple of years, but Josh Allen deserves plenty of credit as well for the way he’s played on offense.

For a quarterback that was viewed as a mistake when the Bills used a first-round pick on him in 2018, Buffalo fans seem beyond thankful for Allen now, and can’t wait to see how he looks on Sunday to help defeat the Patriots.
