3. Pittsburgh Steelers

Despite coming up short the way they did at home Sunday night to the Buffalo Bills, the good news for the Pittsburgh Steelers is the team still currently sits in the final Wild Card spot for the AFC playoff picture.

While it may seem concerning to some to watch the Steelers come up short against the Bills, keep in mind that Pittsburgh should view it as losing to another top contender in the AFC.

In other words, there’s no reason to hit the panic button yet for the Steelers, although their remaining schedule can be best described as brutal.

Facing the Baltimore Ravens on the road to close out the regular season will be far from easy, but also the Steelers could see an unexpected challenge on Sunday when facing the New York Jets.

This year has been a disappointment for the most part when it comes to the Jets, but the team could be playing with a little extra motivation when facing the Steelers if they’re looking to make a case for Adam Gase keeping his job.

Not to mention, after watching Devlin Hodges toss four interceptions during las weekend’s loss to the Bills, the Steelers quarterback seems far from trustworthy with the potential balance of the playoffs in his hands.
