1. Dak Prescott

It’s time for Dak Prescott to once again show he is the leader of this team. The pressure is on and their playoff hopes are at stake. He wants to be paid like a top quarterback and taking this team to the playoffs will probably earn him that.

So much talk has surrounded this team from the preseason up to now, whether it be the contract negotiations, the head coaching job, or the waste of talent. Prescott will need to silence all of this and shine.

Dak currently has the second-most passing yards in the NFL and the offense overall is ranked first in yards per game — but do these stats matter? Looking purely at statistics, this team should have one of the best records in the league and yet they sit at 7-7.

The simple fact is that this team needs to execute and that starts with the quarterback. All the numbers will mean absolutely nothing if this team doesn’t reach the postseason. Prescott has never had a losing season as a starter in the NFL and he surely doesn’t want that streak to end.

Sure, the Cowboys will likely begin with a heavy rushing attack with Ezekiel Elliot, but the outcome of this game will fall on the arms of Prescott and Wentz. Fans love to debate over which player is better, this is a chance for that debate to be decided. In Week 16, one of these teams will be catapulted into the playoffs and the other will be left wondering what went wrong in 2019.
