With the Atlanta Falcons taking down the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 16 on Sunday, here are three studs and duds from the Falcons in the game.

The Atlanta Falcons recent hot streak continued on Sunday afternoon in Week 16. The Falcons, coming into the contest on Sunday at home against an AFC opponent riding a two-game winning streak, continued their winning ways at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Atlanta took down the Jacksonville Jaguars, 24-12, during the Week 16 slate of games around the league to extend its winning streak to three in a row going into the regular-season finale next weekend.

The Falcons grabbed an early lead to take over control of the game right out of the gate and not look back en route to the win. Atlanta opened the contest against Jacksonville up by taking a 14-0 lead after the first quarter, eventually stretching that lead to 17-3 going into halftime at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

In the second half, the Jaguars outscored the Falcons, 9-7, but Atlanta was able to ultimately hold out long enough to pull out the win at the end of the day.

With the win, the Falcons improved to 6-9 overall on the season and wrap up their home schedule with a record of 3-5 this year. Atlanta was able to move into the third spot in the NFC South standings, still sitting behind the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers atop the division breakdown.

The Falcons will return to action for the final time in the 2019 campaign next weekend when they hit the road to face off against the Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon in Week 17 in Tampa Bay.

Following Atlanta taking down Jacksonville on Sunday afternoon in Atlanta, let’s go back to the game and dive into three studs and duds from the Falcons in the victory.
