Stud: Julio Jones

Julio Jones was outstanding throughout the course of the entire game, once again going over the 100-yard receiving mark in Week 16 while finishing with basically half of Atlanta’s overall receiving yardage in the game.

With a team-best 10 receptions on 15 overall targets, Jones grabbed a game-best 166 yards through the air while recording a game-long reception of 32 yards to lead his team to their third straight win.

Jones has been great all season long for Atlanta, and he once again stepped up and out-performed everyone else on the field in Week 16 on Sunday afternoon.

Dud: Turning the ball over

In the win at home, Atlanta managed to fumble the ball once, although it didn’t result in a loss of possession as the Falcons were able to recover the loose ball.

However, the Falcons also finished with two interceptions in the game courtesy of Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan, which is something we have seen a little too often this year but has been a common occurrence considering the Falcons tend to throw the ball a decent amount rather than running the ball on the ground.

Ultimately, the turnovers didn’t haunt Atlanta too much, but this team has lived and died when it comes to turning the ball over to the opposing team to this point in the 2019 campaign.
