1. Zeke gets 150 total yards, leads Cowboys to NFC East title
In the Cowboys’ evisceration of the Rams a week ago, it was the rushing attack that guided the way for the Dallas offense. Ezekiel Elliott had perhaps his best game of 2019 with 24 carries for 117 yards and two scores while also catching three balls for 43 yards. Meanwhile, rookie Tony Pollard put an exclamation point on the game with 12 carries for 131 yards and a touchdown.
Though Elliott has been a bit inconsistent this season, the Cowboys have been at their best when they commit to their highly paid running back and let him lead the way. That’s also what they did in the first meeting against the Eagles in October, which obviously worked well considering the 27-point victory.
Against the Eagles, Elliott rushed the ball 22 times for 111 yards and a touchdown while also finishing second on the team in receiving with six grabs for 36 yards. And even though the Eagles pass defense remains susceptible — which Dallas will take advantage of — Elliott will be the horse that leads the calvary on Sunday afternoon.
Elliott will live up to what he put on the field last week with another monster game in the biggest moment of the season. Not only will the running back top 100 rushing yards in the game but he’ll also come up in the passing game as well, ending the outing with 150 total yards to help guide the Cowboys to a decisive win that captures America’s Team the NFC East.
