Stud: Claiming another AFC East title

With the win over the Bills at home in Week 16, New England was able to improve to 12-3 overall while pushing Buffalo down to 10-5 overall, meaning the defending champions claimed another AFC East title here in 2019.

After claiming the divisional crown, the Patriots have now tallied their 11th straight AFC East title, further extending an impressive stretch of dominance that has taken place in New England over the last decade-plus.

Now, we are about to see if the Patriots will be able to ride that dominance into the postseason once again this year and if they will be able to defend their title at the end of the playoffs.

Dud: Not looking as dominant at home yet

A trend over the last few home games, beginning with the loss at home against the Kansas City Chiefs a few weeks ago, the Patriots haven’t been as stellar in front of their home crowd like we have seen in past years and even saw at the beginning of the regular season here in 2019.

For a team that has been very tough to face and beat on their home field traditionally, it will be interesting to see if the Patriots will be able to shore things up and get back to being dominant at home in Foxborough before the start of the playoffs in a few short weeks.
