NFL Power Rankings, Week 17: Eagles bury Cowboys, Ravens clinch No. 1 seed

16. Indianapolis Colts (20)
After previously losing six of their last seven games, it’s about time the Indianapolis Colts played on a high level like they did against the Carolina Panthers to earn the 38-6 win.
Playoffs may already be out of question for the Colts, but hopefully the team can end 2019 on a positive note to make sure they bounce back stronger next season.
Watching Indianapolis miss out on the playoffs one year after an impressive run is obviously frustrating for numerous reasons, but also keep in mind what the Colts were forced to overcome after the surprise retirement of Andrew Luck in the preseason.
Despite the rough two-month stretch, if there’s anything the Colts have learned this year, it would be the offense appears to be in great shape with Jacoby Brissett moving forward.
The fact that Indianapolis put up 38 points on Sunday, and Brissett only needed to throw for 119 yards with a rushing touchdown shows the kind of support the Colts quarterback has from his teammates.
With a full offseason to prepare for 2020 as the full-time starter, Indianapolis should feel confident enough in Brissett getting this team back on track after the unfortunate results from this current season.
