8. Minnesota Vikings (7) (Play Monday Night vs. Green Bay Packers)

The Minnesota Vikings playing Monday’s game against the Green Bay Packers without Dalvin Cook is a crushing blow for the offense, but also Mike Zimmer’s squad should still feel confident enough in the offense being in for a big game.

Dating back to last season, Kirk Cousins has rightfully felt all sorts of pressure to help the Vikings become Super Bowl contenders in the NFC, and after Minnesota came up short of reaching the playoffs a year ago, the team will at least be participating this January.

But as great as it would be for the Vikings to earn one of the Wild Card spots in the NFC, the NFC North is still in play, and Minnesota defeating Green Bay on Monday in front of a national audience would be huge entering the final week of regular season action.

Cousins doesn’t exactly have the best track record when it comes to playing in these primetime games, but none of this would matter if the Vikings quarterback found a way to come up big to top Week 16 off by helping Minnesota earn a win over the Packers.

As crushing as the Cook news is, Cousins still has plenty of other great weapons to work with on offense.
