2. San Francisco 49ers (6)

Thanks to Saturday’s win over the Los Angeles Rams, the San Francisco 49ers are officially in control of their own playoff destiny since a win next weekend over the Seattle Seahawks will officially lock up the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

But if the 49ers come up short, this will make a huge difference since San Francisco would go from having home-field advantage throughout the playoffs to being one of the Wild Card teams, which sounds absolutely crazy to even think about.

Despite Los Angeles making things a little more interesting than originally expected, San Francisco displayed once again why they can be such a serious threat once the playoffs get underway in a few weeks.

From San Francisco’s defense continuing to show they’re one of the best in the league to Jimmy Garoppolo getting the best from his weapons such as George Kittle on offense, the 49ers have plenty of reasons to feel confident in their chances of making a Super Bowl run.

However, before the 49ers can look too far ahead, the main focus needs to be on making sure they defeat the Seahawks in Week 17 since this all of a sudden has the potential to be the game of the year for 2019.
