28. Jacksonville Jaguars (24)

If the Jacksonville Jaguars still believe that Gardner Minshew deserves to be the quarterback of the future over Nick Foles, Sunday’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons is the perfect example of how the rookie quarterback is clearly still a work in progress.

With the way things have turned out with the Jaguars in 2019, it would be unfair to put any of the blame on Minshew or Foles over what has taken place over the last few months in Jacksonville.

With Jacksonville’s offense taking until the fourth quarter just to record their first touchdown of the game, this sums up perfectly what kind of afternoon Sunday was for the Jaguars.

Time will tell when it comes to seeing whether the Jaguars decide to give it another go with Foles in 2020 since it is difficult to determine his potential since the former Super Bowl MVP missed most of the year due to an injury.

But also, Jacksonville faces another difficult decision in whether it would be worth bringing Doug Marrone back for another season as head coach or if the team would be better off starting fresh with someone new.

Either way, no matter what the Jaguars end up doing, it still doesn’t take away from how disappointing this year turned out to be when looking at all of the offseason hype, especially after convincing Foles to come on board.
