26. New York Giants (29)

In case there were any doubters over what the future on offense could look like for the New York Giants, all they need to do is look at Sunday’s win over the Washington Redskins to see why there is plenty of excitement.

Back in 2018 when the Giants decided to use the No. 2 pick on Saquon Barkley, there was some criticism over the team going with a running back instead of a quarterback to be the potential successor to Eli Manning.

Turns out, New York may have known exactly what they were doing since the Giants would use a first-round pick during this year’s draft on Daniel Jones, who returned to action on Sunday after a two-game absence.

With a game against the Washington Redskins, the Giants knew this could turn out to be tougher than expected since this tends to happen when rivalries meet.

But between Jones tossing five touchdown passes along with Barkley finishing with 279 yards from scrimmage to go along with two trips into the end zone to help New York defeat Washington in overtime 41-35, this shows how bright the future could be.

The results from this year have been disappointing for the most part, but with the right moves in the offseason, this Giants team could be dangerous in 2020.
