AFC West Christmas Wishlist

Denver Broncos: Someone else drafting quarterbacks

Drew Lock has looked better than expected since taking over the reins of the Broncos offense as a second-round rookie. However, the quarterback woes under John Elway have been numerous as his only true success at the position has been luring Peyton Manning to Denver.

In truth, Elway has not done a bad overall job managing the Broncos. However, if he had someone more equipped to evaluate quarterbacks for him, the team would be in a much better position.

Kansas City Chiefs: Top-10 defense

As they’ve gotten fully healthy later in the season, the Kansas City Chiefs defense has actually made great strides and looks far better than they did in the 2018 campaign. However, if this Patrick Mahomes-led squad had a top-10 unit on that side of the ball to supplement the high-powered offense, they could be in for a dynastic run.

Los Angeles Chargers: One-way ticket back to San Diego

Considering that there’s talk of the Chargers going to London (even if erroneous) before they even move into their new Los Angeles stadium, suffice it to say that the move from San Diego has not gone well. At this point, if the Chargers are truly not long for LA, wouldn’t it just be more fitting and, frankly, right for the Bolts to head right back to San Diego, a city that embraced them?

Oakland Raiders: New stadium in Oakland

Make no mistake, the Raiders new stadium in Las Vegas looks magnificent. And there’s a good chance that Sin City embraces the silver and black quickly as a beloved team.

However, when the Raiders played their final game in Oakland in Week 15, it was truly a depressing scene to see so many devoted and passionate fans simply being abandoned. It’s a shame they were unable to get a new deal in the city done for a stadium so they could stay put, so that’s their gift here.
