11. Steelers score just 10 points for third week in a row

Right when it seemed like the Pittsburgh Steelers were going to pull off the unthinkable by earning a trip to the playoffs as a Wild Card team despite all of the previous obstacles, Mike Tomlin’s team is on the verge of elimination.

A few weeks ago, the Steelers were in control of their own destiny by hanging on to the No. 6 seed in the AFC before things fell apart over the last two weeks with losses to the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets.

It was one thing for Pittsburgh to come up short against Buffalo since the team is going to the playoffs for a reason, but losing to New York was a tough blow since the Steelers were arguably the better team.

Unfortunately, Pittsburgh facing a team in the Baltimore Ravens with the top overall seed already locked up may not even work to their advantage since their rivals would love nothing more than to prevent them from participating in the playoffs.

With the Steelers struggling to put up points over the last two games (10 points each week), don’t be surprised if the struggles continue in Week 17 to put the icing on the cake of a rough 2019 campaign.
