7. Packers win by more than 30 points

After all of the talk surrounding teams like the San Francisco 49ers or New Orleans Saints possibly earning the top overall seed in the NFC playoff picture, could the Green Bay Packers actually find a way to take home the honors?

At the moment, the Packers currently sit in the No. 2 seed, but if they were to defeat the Detroit Lions, and receive some extra help on Sunday, this team could very well earn home-field advantage.

After handling the pressure with ease by defeating the Minnesota Vikings on the road in Week 16, a road matchup with the struggling Lions seems like a dream scenario for the Packers since Detroit only has three wins to their name.

Maybe if Matthew Stafford were healthy enough to play or the defense didn’t appear to look so lost on a weekly basis, Detroit would actually have a fighting chance in this one.

But since Aaron Rodgers and company tend to sometimes play their best football when facing this kind of pressure with the chance to be a top seed in the NFC playoff picture, Sunday’s game could easily be over by the start of the fourth quarter.

Rivalries tend to bring out the best in teams from time to time, but for the Lions, it seems unlikely they will be able to keep up with the Packers.
