6. Elliott rushes for more than 200 yards

Not only do the Dallas Cowboys need to win their Week 17 battle with the Washington Redskins just to have a fighting chance at winning the division, but the team will also need help from the New York Giants defeating the Philadelphia Eagles as well.

If the Cowboys do end up falling short of reaching the playoffs, the team will have no one to blame other than themselves since the talent is clearly there on both sides of the football to be serious contenders in the NFC.

And if the unimaginable does happen where Dallas falls short of winning the NFC East title, chances are that Jason Garrett will be out of a job.

But since the Cowboys are focused on keeping their playoff hopes alive, the team needs to make sure they show up against the Redskins.

After watching Saquon Barkley torch Washington’s defense the way they did, Ezekiel Elliott seems like he could be in perfect position to do the same, and help Dallas be in the perfect position to keep the division race tight.

Elliott has always been known to be a workhorse in the backfield, and with the season on the line for the Cowboys, the former Ohio State star will be needed more than ever.
